Contract was pointless - nothing in it was being followed Training wasn't being conducted properly Management did not follow company policy at all despite repeatedly being pulled up by audits. Other than it being flagged by an auditor nothing was done to change it. Health and safety was completely ignored with staff climbing all over the freezers and not wearing safety equipment. Management frequently bullied retail assistants You were never allowed to leave on time. There were times where you ended up working for free for up to 3 hours. Especially when doing a stock take. If you aren't finished within a 1.5 hours you don't get paid for the rest of the time you're there finishing it. The same applied when you're closing the store. Always understaffed so tasks like opening/closing/stock takes would take longer than the company wanted so staff had to work for free.
