Pros

job allows you to work mostly independently minimal supervision work outside

Cons

Required to answer to Fedex for areas that are not their responsibility. you are supposedly an independent contractor but are often treatd as an employee.

Pros

good pay and bonus structure. there is room for advancement by adding additional routes and supplementals. management is helpful in assisting you with needs

Cons

fedex can pull your contract if they feel you are not doing the job up to par. and zero benefits

Pros

It does fill a certain niche for someone who wishes to do this type of work while offering some lattitude in scheduling

Cons

Although Contractors are considered independent, almost every aspect of what they do is governed by FedEx to include: Wearing company uniforms, purchasing trucks with FedEx branding, dictating the manner and means of how the job will be performed. Workload is subject to the whims of Management. You are pretty much an employee with no benefits
