Pros

The company pays its workers well and offers nice health benefits to full-time employees. Also, optional overtime is abundant.

Cons

The company does not care about individual workers. When workers are injured on the job they are subject to being taken to 1 of the 2 worst hospitals in the area. Those same teammates are forced to work with their injuries or risk being fired for attendance. The attendance policy is extremely strict and on most occasions if a worker calls off, regardless of the reason, they will receive an unexcused absence.

Good workout. That's about it.

Cons

Don't plan on ever moving up unless you are a suck up, or a managers pet. Equipment sucks. Lots of talk from management about the "FedEx family". I wonder what family they think we resemble? With all the gossip, backstabbing, and favoritism that goes on, the only type family this place reminds me of is an extremely dysfunctional family like the Bundy's from Married With Children.

Pros

The other package handlers are good people. But, don't expect them to stay for very long!

Cons

It is terrible! Every day your schedule changes and often you come in for only 1 or 2 hours. Managers for the package handlers always seem miserable and no matter how hard you work you are expected to work harder. It is not a job that you want to stay at for long!
