Pros

Your experience really depends on your team and business unit.

Cons

Compensation and benefits are well below industry standard. Which is a problem since the positive reviews were really a thing of the past and now Fidelity's culture is no different from any other investment company, but you'll get paid less and expected to work more.

Pros

Hybrid work schedule with home equipment provided. Provides licensing & exam prep during first few months of onboarding for FINRA Series 7, 63 & SIE financial licenses. During non-peak times, scheduled 2 hours off-phone time daily to invest in self-lead career development activities.

Cons

Really low pay considering the back-to-back calls experienced on a daily basis and also in reference to other similarly licensed financial employees elsewhere. Micromanagement of schedule adherence with ambiguous expectations surrounding allotted break, lunch, & off-phone time. Unrealistic call stat expectations with manager's allowed to determine their own expectations outside of company standards. Promised auto-promotions are not guaranteed upon successfully meeting outlined call stat averages and are actually only available according to company demand at the time.

Pros

Rarely had to work after 5pm

Cons

- You have to play the politics to get ahead, and people were disrespectful to people who had "lower" job titles - Getting promoted is an unnecessary battle - The pay was not competitive - "Dynamic Working" (their hybrid work policy) isn't flexible at all, and it's vague how much you need to be in the office without getting in trouble (e.g., some said if you weren't in for at least 6 hours, that day didn't count, which essentially then meant the entire week didn't count, and if you missed a certain number of weeks, including being OOO for PTO, you would be added to a "list", which impacts your bonus) - They disregard employee feedback time and time again - Benefits got worse by the year
