Fidelity caters to new hires. They are like comcast: Throw the world at you if you are a new employee, but the people that have worked here and put their time in, and actually contribute to the company are rewarded with the opportunity to do more work.
Every benefit is designed to get people in the door. New hires got a 12% bump in pay, plus a signing bonus of $2500. I have worked here for almost 10 years and I get to do my job, the help desks job, and the new hires job, and don't get so much as a thank you. Too much middle management that has no idea what goes on on the phones. Work is not challenging. Roles are not defined. Who does what... No one knows.

Pay is low.
I'm sure that there are some people that enjoy their work, but in the Active Trader group, the morale is low, attitudes are awful, and suggestions are ignored.
Work site is in a horrible location- every time you go outside, you are accosted by homeless people for money. Building is not owned by company.
