Disappointing Experience with Serious Ethical Concerns

Pros

The compensation was fair for the role.

Cons

My experience with this company was deeply unsatisfactory. U.S.-based employees are treated as second-class citizens, facing unequal treatment compared to their counterparts. The company's business practices raise serious ethical red flags, with management encouraging actions that felt both legally questionable and morally dubious. Silent layoffs have been occurring throughout the year, adding to an already unstable environment. Despite being aware of these issues, leadership remains unresponsive and fails to take meaningful action. The workplace culture is unprofessional, marked by a lack of strong leadership and direction. Overall, it was a disheartening experience that I would advise others to approach with serious caution.

Pros

Lots of smart people and access to hardware. Worth joining as a quant

Cons

The company literally spends money to stop people talking to each other. Not a collaborative culture.
