Lack of Inclusion and Accountability

Pros

Nice offices with onsite perks

Cons

The company has significant issues with accountability and diversity. Leadership often ignores inappropriate behaviour and valid concerns, particularly when involving senior employees with tenure or personal connections. HR fails to address these issues effectively, and there are no meaningful opportunities to provide upward feedback on managers. The culture is exclusive, secretive, and heavily top-down, with favouritism affecting morale. Diversity is a serious challenge in both locations, especially in Dallas, where the office is approximately 90% male, creating a difficult environment for female employees on my team. There is a noticeable divide between US and UK teams, with constant comparisons that hinder collaboration and productivity. If you're considering joining, I would advise digging deeper into the culture. You can see first hand the lack of diversity in the office if you come onsite. Be wary of recent reviews, as HR has been actively soliciting newer employees to post positive feedback online.

Pros

Salary, nice work life balance.

Cons

Lack of communications, CTO and COO are completely clueless and not taking responsabilities for their poor decision making.

Pros

People Compensation Work/life balance Security has stopped getting in the way as much as it used to Highly successful company (sometimes in spite of itself)

Cons

Security is done pretty well, but it dominates much of what platform and IT teams work on. Open source is usually not good enough without an internal project to make it "high integrity". Nothing is easy as a consequence - many things take a much longer time to get done than feels reasonable. It's a big company, with big company politics. Management isn't candid about problems and there is a lack of trust. Decisions are made too close to the top, as opposed to where the people with the information to make the best decisions are. Management doesn't feel "happy". There still isn't enough internal mobility, although this has improved.
