Pros

Good salary compared to other employers.

Cons

Company is constantly reorganizing. Currently spinning Dallas office to its own company. Dallas is just hands on keyboards while strategy and architecture are dictated from London office. Almost no culture. Basically Dallas is IT service group taking tasks from London.

Pros

-Accusations -Gossip -Use of customer personal data -Vile Environment

Cons

(They deleted my review x2) G-Research, a supposed titan of quantitative finance, was less a professional assessment and more a bizarre display of paranoia. -Apparently, for a firm that prides itself on cutting-edge analytics, their leaders are still stuck in the era of 'don't make eye contact with the spooky AI. -An accidental comedy sketch where the punchline was G-Research's inability to conduct a basic professional interaction. If their 'brilliant' quants are this easily flummoxed by normal human behavior, I shudder to think what their actual trading algorithms are doing. -Avoid, unless you enjoy being treated like a suspected cheat by individuals clearly out of their depth

Pros

Good benefits, (some) good colleagues, good office building

Cons

Believe all the bad reviews on here. Very bad blame culture, lots of finger pointing and 'who to pin this on' floating around. Lack of training opportunities. Lack of documentation/obtuse security systems/tech stack. Fair amount of playing favourites/bias/subtle bullying.
