Working with some of the most brilliant colleagues and peers in the advisory services, has truly been a privilege.

Cons

The unfortunate reality of working within a once great company is that you hold onto hope, which at this stage seems all but lost. Empowerment has been replaced with process, leadership with micro management (lack of talent), segregation in place of collaboration, reinforced by arbitrary metrics, and blame in place of individual development.

You’ll work with some good people. Great benefits.

Cons

Claim to be a technology company, but they don’t invest in technology. Militant culture - They use scare tactics and will say you have the wrong mindset, if you don’t do exactly what they say. Archaic processes in place - Just an all around old feeling type of culture. Leadership is scared to go against the grain and claim to be onboard, but secretly want out and are trying to back door other opportunities and get out of Gartner. Some have already left.
