Pros

Customers who leveraged Gartner and invested time speaking with Gartner analysts reaped huge benefits and ROIs regarding technology strategy, planning and execution.

Cons

Sales reps run in mud. Gartner's CRM system is from the 80s, no enterprise level view of your clients, constantly creating slides for internal reviews, lots of pom poms and rah rah and koolaid drinking, a cult of positivity where only wins are celebrated and losses and high staff turn over are never discussed. Only move up is into sales management which is overhead.

Pros

Working you might make you a stronger individual by dealing with all the nonsense and stress daily

Cons

1. Totally unconcerned and selfish management 2. The analytics team does reporting and copy-pasting of numbers from various dashboards 3. You will not learn anything apart from managing stress - which can break you and cause burnout 4. Do not join the company if you want to progress in your career. You will not learn anything on the job apart from turning things around swiftly, and will not even get the time to focus on your personal development 5. Promotions are given to people only after they threaten to leave, hard work and exemplary behavior does not count 6. Stakeholders have unrealistic expectations, and your team leaders will not help you prioritize at all - they say yes to everything 7. Do not expect your team leaders to defend the team - you will need to fend for yourself daily here
