      Where careers go to die

      Pros

      Running water? electricity? that’s about it

      Cons

      The list is endless. Extremely toxic and backstabbing environment. No possibilty for career advancement unless you are (A) Austrian (B) lacking in any ethics or integrity and (C) in favour with someone from upper management. Rewards narcissistic and sycophantic behaviour. Any good ideas will be taken from you and either buried because it might make someone higher up look bad or else it will be quietly usurped to be used by someone else later who will get all the credit. Overall the worst company I ever worked for. Crazy-making atmosphere that over the course of my time there I saw literally drive some people to tears until they had no choice but to leave.

      Going downhill fast

      Pros

      Location (Vienna) is great. Fairly flexible work hours. Small perks but those were slowly disappearing. Most colleagues ( outside of management ) were great to work with. Sadly the best left or were preparing to leave

      Cons

      Too many to list. Poor management that pays no attention to who is actually doing the work. Horrible internal politics that only seemed to be getting worse

      Pros

      Safe job environment, in a well located building. Is good for starting your carrier and learning. Salary is ok. The company is transparent to the employees about the short-medium term objectives, performance in the market and economical situation.

      Cons

      This depends from team to team i think, however i have seen and experienced how foreigners are treated differently. Some behaviors of superiors would be considered bullying, and this is what other colleagues of mine have pointed out too.
