Pros

-Discount 25% (unlimited) -Progression within the company -Face paced environment where time goes quickly -Plenty of overtime if you are hardworking -Shift swaps are easy -Time off and holidays are flexible -Great clothes! -Great bonuses for all staff in the shop! e.g 400 at christmas. -Staff turnover is very low, everyone loves the company and have been with the company for years. (everyone in my shop has been with the company for over 2 years)

Cons

-Training is vague -Very strict on work performance -Expected to dedicate yourself to H&M, in the way of knowledge and team spirit -Till system is older than most retailers and is therefore harder to use -Staff are bitchy like most retail environments, however if you work hard and don't get involve you will be fine -Competitive visual positions and management positions -Min wage until 3 month probation period

Pros

For retail, they actually pay relatively well compared to other retailers. I was on £6.20 an hour which was above average at the time. It's very fast paced so if you enjoy being kept busy, it's great.

Cons

The employee structure is very flat so you find those who progress keep moving around in the same role before eventually moving up but this was relatively rare. As a part timer, it was almost impossible.
