      Pros

      Good product, good benefits, great company when it was locally managed. Good employee base, good community involvement. Forward thinking in a lot of areas. Upward mobile company

      Cons

      When locally managed the company was more employee friendly. Corporate decisions do not consider employee impact. Lack of trust within the company due to many lay offs and no sense of job security.

      Great harding working people. Compensation is good if you only work 40-50 hours a week.

      Cons

      People are overworked and not valued. No balance between work and personal life.

      Pros

      Some Harman divisions still have amazing engineers and products. There is still a connection to an amazing heritage, and the opportunity to work on advanced projects.

      Cons

      More and more of the work is being moved to China and India, and the Harman heritage and tribal knowledge is at risk of being lost forever.
