Pros

Nice physical work environments Access to some company audio products at employee prices Good flexibility of working at office or home

Cons

Extreme, and toxic focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion ideology to the detriment of merit incentives Many managerial-driven disincentives that decrease employee engagement, e.g. apathy, poor communication, fuzzy team goals, excessive favoritism (especially by German managers toward USA STAFF) Too easy for many employees to “quiet quit” and fall off managerial oversight

Pros

Only one Pro is it is One of the top automotive tier1 companies with their past performance. NOT Harman connected services though

Cons

Harman connected services a direction less unit.. senior management has no clear strategy. Makes middle management responsible for evrything. No support to middle management. Lot of politics. Even the HR are biased and just listen to what senior management says No long term growth to the team especially you are deployed at customer location.

Pros

Not much just Salary on time .

Cons

No work life balance. You have to work every weekend. If you are more than 10 days on a bench. They will immediately ask you to resign and leave the organization without giving notice. I requested hr to give me at least 1 month of time but she didn't care . No job security. Even small companies do not cause this type of firing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are disappointed to hear that the only positive of your tenure at HARMAN is the salary paid on time. At HARMAN, we prioritize internal mobility and we’re deeply displeased to hear you weren’t given this option. Our HARMAN Flex policy lets teams decide which setup works best for them – work from the office, from home, or hybrid – to ensure employees can achieve the much-needed work-life balance. We wish you all the best in your new endeavor.
