Good company to work for, but has some issues and is bad for America
Pros
Good culture, good tech. People are friendly and a pleasant place to work.
Cons
Still has big corporation problems like open nepotism. I left because my manager was very unqualified, the other applicants for the position were extremely qualified, the unqualified manager who got hired didn't know what he was doing, so built in administrative overhead into all our tasks, which made a 5 minute task turn into a 30 minute, due to have to write an essay for every bit of work you do. He wasn't a bad guy, just had no business being the position he was in. HCA Healthcare is also bad for America, doesn't matter what political spectrum you are on, data is data, and for profit health care is more expensive than public or nonprofit, but there is not any evidence it is higher quality. Profit incentive is also at conflict with health care services. If the goal of the hospital is to turn a profit, then all other factors are going to be lower priorities.
