Pros

None that I can think of. Good benefits if you can tolerate working there long enough to use them.

Cons

They will chew you up and spit you out with pleasure. I have never heard so many healthcare workers say do NOT take me to their hospital no matter what you do!!! So unsafe and unfair. No support whatsoever. Everyone is allowed to bully and harass you. If you go to management they will gaslight you and tell you its your fault, your anxiety yet 4 people’ left in the short time I was there and they have at least 2 new nurses a year for the last 6 years. I would never let my family get surgery or any emergent care or any type of care whatsoever at any of their facilities. Word is it’s this bad in every state yet they are allowed yo practice this way.

Pros

It's really hard to get fired

Cons

It's HCA - the emar is archaic, you're chronically understaffed, you have ancient equipment that constantly needs service, and you get to watch the company squeeze as much insurance money as possible from patients.

Pros

Average benefits package and pto

Cons

No dedicated sick time. Holidays come out of PTO. Providers are routinely allowed to do whatever they want with no regards to workflows put into place to protect patients. Raises are always lousy and usually less than the rate of inflation. EMR software is incredibly dangerous with lots of known safety issues that staff and providers are supposed to somehow keep working around. Safety concerns that are brought to management are not taken seriously. Nursing ratios are unsafe and well below the national average.
