Started off as a Garage R&D company and grew wo what it is now, R&D was its DNA and strength Provided a lot of opportunity to people to live their dreams Open culture and lot of learnings and opportunities provided Vineeth Nayar transformed the company mindset and was one of few CEOs who could think global

Cons

Past one year has been pretty bad and no clear directions provided on the future plan Attrition on higher management post Vineets exit leading to chaos New leadership not able to understand HCL strengths and leverage them, dynamic drastic changes starting to have dangerous impact to core HCL DNA Anant Gupta not able steer the company, focus is on operations rather than strategy Service Line based changes not through thru and rolled out quickly will have impact on attrition Long times are treated like people with no skill and hence sticking around. Large scale long timers moving out

Pros

Empowerment to take your own decisions and lead them. In my 13+ years of career at HCL i have never once felt discouraged or un-appreciated at HCL. Its a wonderful place to work indeed!

Cons

The company is always on an overdrive, so i guess a few pauses will do :)
