Pros
- everyone in the office was very nice - I had a great manager - great place to start your career as a student, learnt so much in such a welcoming environment - development is encouraged, always opportunities to self-develop - work life balance is great - flexible working -
Cons
- There could be a better transition for students entering the world of work. Even if it is small things which may be new such as leading meetings, controlling your workload, understanding where work strands come from. - could be a stronger community for students which is led by permanent employers (not students but maybe ex-placement students). - I didn't get the same benefits as I knew some people completing student placements at private companies got, such as Christmas leave, any bonus rewards.
