Pros

- Digital department has a good culture - Worthwhile interesting projects (you're not working to increase a company's profits) - Lots of tools processes and kit (although procurement can be tricky) - Good skilled people (in DDaT)

Cons

- Pay is not comparable with private sector - There can be bureaucratic obstacles, it being a government department - Home Office has work to do on its public perception - Interfacing with parts of the Home Office that use legacy processes and tech, and work in very non-streamlined ways

Pros

* Decent work sometimes * They do try to improve

Cons

* Far too much bureaucracy from management breathing down our knecks * Silo working * HIGH staff turn over, so constant handovers
