Pros

Ermm. Good amount of job stability, even for managers who never perform and shirk responsibilities

Cons

Current hiring system was set to avoid nepotism, but actually creates less opportunities for those good at the job and instead seeks to hire overconfident arrogant people. Not enough staff leading to an increased workload that is completely unmanageable
