Pros

Work from home option, that's it.

Cons

Dishonest work description, they hired me for one vertical, after a few weeks the asked us to "help out" to another vertical after a couple of months they moved us to this new vertical without asking and 3 months later laid off because wasn’t "productive enough", it doesn’t make sense because I always received "positive" feedback. They announce changes in their policies out nowhere. Messy company overall, they start promising a lot of things and ed up not delivering. Toxic environment Lastly they sent information to the Country's institution with mistaken or not valid info.

The Autonomy is Empowering and the Opportunity is Compelling

Pros

- Top-of-market compensation. - Very high talent density so will be surrounded by incredibly smart coworkers. - Options will be worth something as revenue is growing very fast. - A lot of autonomy to operate in the organizational model. - Very data driven with little politics. One only needs data, and not influence, to get an idea across. - Innovative products that are breaking new ground. - The company is growing/hiring fast so there are opportunities to quickly earn leadership positions for those who can scale alongside it. - It is a fast-paced environment.

Cons

- Not a ton of structure in place so it isn't the best place for junior employees to start out unless they are very self-organizing. - The company's management framework is to take smart people and challenge them to operate to the maximum of their ability, while paying them well and providing interesting subject areas to work on. For some, this can be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling as the autonomy is empowering. For others, though, it can be seen as a sink-or-swim situation and it can lead to disappointment that there isn't more coaching or competency building-efforts from Hopper itself.

Poor Leadership

Pros

Flexible work environment and competitive pay / health benefits.

Cons

Borderline toxic culture with a leadership group that is constantly changing direction and often feels misguided. To add to that, the climate is extremely political, with favoritism running rampant, and little regard for the employees.
