Pros

Fantastic brand name and for many years IBM was a great place to work. Full of very bright people and great innovative technology.

Cons

There is a process for a process and the company is downsizing so much that the quality of delivery and people is seriously compromised. Lots of fake forecasting and then reviewing made up opportunities. Bureaucratic and no more respect for the individual - something IBM used to pride itself on. Lots of dodgy hate dealings. Rich US directors get richer. The employees and customers suffer. Far too much focus on shareholder value and not customer.

Pros

You work with very bright, intelligent people

Cons

Managers become "reporters", more red tape than you can even imagine.

Pros

I see no pros at working with IBM.

Cons

IBM Management lies and had me assigned to wrong accounts, and then later the accounts I did cover were in the data base covered by somebody else. Really.
