Pros

You can learn a lot from different industries, different business problems, You get access to the CxO level with some of the most complete portfolio in the industry. Education is at your disposal on line, hard to have time to do it though.

Cons

Lots of pressure. Not very well paid. Extremely hard to coordinate a sale with various divisions involved. If you get a bad set of accounts for 1 year you are going to suffer without commissions.

Great place to get started in technology. Gained global perspective and business processes both internal and external. Enjoyed working with a bunch of talented and dedicated colleagues

Cons

Career at IBM really depends on who your "Executive Sponsor" or "Godfather" is.....A lot people get lost in the corporate blackhole......
