Pros

You can change jobs many times. This is actively encouraged. You don't get bored doing the same job for years and years.

Cons

Until you are a director there is little incentive to stay, but a lot of people do stay, hoping ot hit the big money. Once you hit director level the stock options kick in and you become a impossible to dislodge. You will eventually retire but you would never leave of your own accord. Cover your ass, you will not get sacked.

Pros

The Work/life balance program is great in the US, there are many "potential" opportunities for job movement

Cons

Spending on education is abysmal. It seems that Executive management is out of touch with workforce reality.
