      plausible deniability is the executive career path at IBM

      Pros

      + salary + exposure to wild ducks who inspire and mentor beyond the big blue spectrum + exposure to incredible clients and business problems + exposure to bleeding edge tech - if you can get on those projects

      Cons

      + leadership is laughable + the most mind boggling business problem here is IBM itself... too big to sail + the archaic systems, insane process, & ever-shifting org structures only make sense in chaos theory. + there is no excuse for how incredible talent is systematically molded into a culture that is cynical, apprehensive, and unsure of the future.

      Creative environment and excellent co-workers but gutted by IBM

      Pros

      The interactive team was the best part of IBM. It was a high-caliber team where everyone worked above and beyond in order to deliver superior results. We had a great culture built by the founders who had been there since the beginning... 22 years.

      Cons

      Our group had been somewhat immune to typical IBM cuts but in 2018, most of our group was cut in a Resource Action. There was no rhyme or reason for who was cut. They had started the previous year by cutting our founders. They let go the jewels our our organization. There is no justification for that.

      -Descent pay -Good people (but they're leaving or being let go) -Nice open offices to be "innovative"

      Cons

      -Leaders have no clue what they're doing -iX Leadership isn't accountable...even Ginny (22 straight quarters (5.5 years) of declining revenue, but we finally beat it...and the stock is still going down ) -People are either getting laid-off or leaving -I'm By Myself
