Pros

It has a relaxed culture, my co-workers are fun to be around, location is ideal.

Cons

Limited growth, low pay, hardly any raises. there also seems to be a lot of office politics that go on here..the higher up's don't care much when they lose highly skilled employees. Favoritism to a select group of people. They do not offer incentives to want you to stay there. tuition reimbursement is a joke.. they move people a lot. It's not unusual if you move 2-3 times in a year.

Pros

If you are in sales you have freedom.

Cons

depending on the regional sales manager you runt he risk of being micromanaged. the market is saturated and yet they still hire new retail account managers to go after the gristle of the market. they make you do inventory needlessly every Monday which is time consuming. they still have a "sell phone cards" mentality. the company tried to implement bill pay with but it wasn't plug and play. there were too many bugs. they constantly harp on you to grow even if your market is saturated. they know the market is saturated but still put enormous pressure on you. also, the manager who hired me told me to find a new job after he left after a year. there is little to no room for advancement within the company. they treat their regional sales managers very badly. they don't take into account seasonal fluctuations in business, especially in the upper midwest, where many migrants head south for the winter for work purposes, thus resulting in a decrease of business. upper management knows this happens and still tears into their RSM's and RAM's for reductions in sales.
