      Pros

      Lots of great people, young, dynamic environment. Good Health insurance, pension and other benefits. Central London location, good networking opportunities, valuable name on your CV.

      Cons

      Management are lacking in basic communication and motivation skills. Very micro-managed top-down with unrealistic targets and little room for negotiating them.

      Strong engineering infrastructure and solid expertise in Golang. Opportunity to work with and maintain multiple microservices in production. Modern technology stack including Couchbase, Kafka, Splunk, EMQX, Traefik, GitHub, and GitHub Actions. Exposure to distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and high-load services. Well-established development and deployment processes.

      Cons

      Lack of clear and transparent performance evaluation criteria. Promotion and career progression expectations were not always well communicated. Feedback was sometimes delivered in group meetings rather than in private one-on-one discussions. Communication style could occasionally feel overly critical in public settings.
