Pros

Unfortunately, there no pros except to think you are working in a bank (if that brings a positive thought) sorry but I stayed for one and half month, could not find a single one. Spending this much time was a tough job.

Cons

Team - Political drama teams, Highly toxic environment, bullying (yes it exists ... don't consider all are grown ups here) Managers - Micro management, Leave profile aside, whoever doesn't like job can be given to the new person, Gender Biased (check ratio in the team you are landing) I dropped into a team with no girl and got to know why girls cannot survive in this team People - Unethical behaviour, They say they practice some Orange Code, though people need professional speech training or basic ethics Technology & Processes - They are still in prev generation. Don't consider this to be valid point here. No process is the process here.

Pros

Great team culture, Margaret Street Office is a great location, opportunities to move within the business (pre pandemic).

Cons

Used to be a great place to work, now just constantly asked to do overtime, over-allocated work everyday, micro managing by unsupportive management, outdated systems and very little training provided.

Pros

Good salary and benefits. Flexibility in working hours and location. Freedom to initiate projects based on personal interests if you can get the support from others.

Cons

Most managers don't know how to set a clear vision and get the best out of people. Promotions often went to friends and allies instead of candidates who may have a better skills set. Performance review can be very unprofessional and unethical. Communication during times of transition can be poor. It took my team 1 and half years of being threatened with redundancy to be given a final decision. As a result of the toxic environment a lot of colleagues around me had burnouts and health problems including myself.
