Pros

Seemed to be a good place to work but a better place to use as a stepping stone. This may no longer be the case now that the dust of the ING purchase and move appears to be settled. Also the foundation seems to be solid for future growth after the initial growing pains.

Cons

Management need to be more clear with the employees, many have dedicated a large portion of their lives to the growth of the company and deserves greater respect. Need to provide greater opportunities for growth and training.

Strong Dutch culture but weak American management team.

Pros

The Dutch are natural business-minded and have good analytical capabilities. Strong emphasis on developing global collaboration.

Cons

Local management team struggles to develop and implement business ideas. No senior responsibility to drive growth. Culture of fear is pervasive versus fostering motivation. Leadership is tenuous and political.
