Thanks for leaving a review of your experience at Indeed. We’re disappointed to read that you had a less than positive experience during your time with us. As you mentioned, we provide an Open PTO policy, along with lots of perks/benefits to ensure that employees have a healthy work/life balance along with the tools they need to succeed in their role. That said, we can only succeed when HR, Management and Team Leads are in sync to provide guidance to the employees, and we’re disappointed to read that you did not have confidence in their leadership. If you have any additional feedback, please send us an email to inside@indeed.com, which will be kept confidential, solely to improve the work environment here at Indeed.

Pros

When it’s good, it’s good. The food. The swag. The office. Everyone is really approachable and engaged. You have somewhat of a work/life balance.

Cons

Then it goes down. Your merit increase is a joke. You are being paid below market, and trying to argue your case is useless. You can’t park at the office. You have mandatory work from home days because they’ve hired too many people and have no place to put them. Managers miss 1:1s and career advancement is minimal. You can take only so much lip service about how valuable you are, how they have big plans, etc. Then you leave, because your manager’s telling you are worth more, and then, they treat you like scorched earth. Not great.

Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review about working at Indeed. As we continue to grow and evolve as a company, we want you to have opportunities to do the same. There are endless ways for you to gain different experiences and take on new challenges within roles, within teams, and within the company. We also review salaries yearly as part of the merit process and have a dedicated benefits team that are continually adjusting levels based on data and feedback. We have launched a global salary project across the business to look at our salary ranges across all roles. With growth comes certain challenges which we may not have experienced before so we really do appreciate the support of our employees (like yourself) through this time as we learn.

Pros

Free Lunch and Snacks Happy Hour Unlimited Leaves (Not for Sales)

Cons

Where to Start 1) The senior sales management sucks, they have no clue to run the business and they do not understand what is happening on the ground level. 2) As long as you suck up to the management and become a yes man, your job is safe and you will get career opportunities even if you dont perform well. 3) Unrealistic targets and goals that are set quarter on quarter and on top of that management keeps changing the KRAs and KPIs, first 2 days it is number of calls , then next two days it is sign ups, if management is confused, how can the reps work 4) The managers are not very ethical and turn a blind eye on how you sell, ( if you sell correctly, you cannot achieve your targets), they only think of short term quarter targets and not long term business 5) The management team severely lack management skills, they have no idea how to work in a mnc or know how to motivate and treat employees 6) Those that have left sales (inside or outside) are successful and happy in their roles now 7)Senior management know only to ask "how many signups "but do not help us in any other way than to scold us
