Pros

The only good things about this place is their snacks. You can't slap a free snack on a job and expect the culture to immediately improve, though.

Cons

Everything else! This place is run like an old-world mob-style gang. Say one things wrong, push back on one thing, share one new idea and you will be forever marked. They will do everything in heir power to get you out because you don't believe in the "Indeed Way." Additionally, the product doesn't work as well as other job boards and I heard one of their top developers share that openly. This is the worst place I've ever worked and dreaded every moment after training.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about working at Indeed in Scottsdale. We care deeply about all our employees and are disappointed to hear about your experience with us. At Indeed, we champion a culture that values honest and transparent communication, with quarterly feedback, management effectiveness surveys and engagement surveys done bi-annually. To hear that you believe nothing was actioned based on your feedback to HR and your Director, is once again disheartening. We’d love to explore your feedback further so please do reach out to us at inside@indeed.com

Pros

They gave me a higher salary to attract me attending them.

Cons

Technology used inside can be improved a lot. Also, you can have 0 help from the HR team when you need to work with them after leaving the company.

Pros

Interesting projects, good work life balance, some opportunity to travel depending on the team, fun perks for young people. Basically, if you are starting your career this is a good place to be. You'll get good experience and a decent company on your resume and then enjoy the fun perks.

Cons

If you are more experienced in your career but not quite at a director level I would strongly consider other options. Senior management lacks clear direction and vision and this is something I have heard across many groups including Marketing, HR, Finance, and Engineering. Overall, Indeed was a company that grew too fast and needed to get people in the door. Now that they are there, there is no system in place to actually achieve anything and no true vision for the future, and Senior Management continue to throw people at the problem instead of taking a step back and fixing the issues properly. Indeed is a "me too" company with no true ingenuity, stealing ideas from other tech and recruiting companies, even though they want to think of themselves as a disruption company.
