      Bad place for UK employees

      Pros

      1. Lots of projects and clients. 2. Huge organisation so somebody somewhere within the organisation has done something similar so there might be some information on the technology or solution in existence already.

      Cons

      1. No realistic chance of promotion for on-site employees. 2. Huge workloads with added pressure of being responsible from the client perspective. 3. Offshore teams can be disinterested and can disengage if not managed properly and can end up with sub standard solutions that has to be reworked on. 4. Lots of travel with a difficult claims process. 5. Lots and lots of red tape around everything and this makes it really difficult to make things happen or do anything a little faster. 6. Very little support from HR or other managers as everything revolves around making more margins. 7. Might have to stand by and watch sub standard solutions being delivered and the look of disappointment and sometimes shock in clients faces.

      Pros

      All good if you are direct employee. You feel like company cares about you. Very secured place. Very good cultured people.

      Cons

      They don't care about contract employee at all. Promise of hiring you into Infy pay roll by HR is all fake.
