Pros

Work from home Many staff are good to work with Will continue to work for company

Cons

Depends on the Pod assigned you will get good manager and bad manager. My prior manager in 2022 was inclusive and gave clear instructions to everyone. 2022 manager gives constructive feedback . In 2023 manager as of March discriminates and have favorites. Dismisses staff abruptly and play games with her friends while the rest struggle to get ahead. If you are an immigrant and you don't pronounce the QOS script like an American you are an immediate failure with branded greeting, introduction. If customer does not initiate Smartlook you are also graded badly, You are also graded on Resolution and offering survey. So you are graded on things you cannot control including program errors.

Pros

Lots of perks, employee resource groups, good pay and a broad interest in diversity efforts

Cons

For the apprenticeship program, it’sa great idea but the amount of support given to aid in your growth depends on if the manager you are assigned to really is aligned with the mission or not. The program needs a lot of work.

Pros

Intuit insurance is one of the few benefits and stock options. In comparison to insurance costs at previous job it was a slight pay bump per hour essentially. I can say I have met some amazing people working for intuit however the turn over rate is high because most of the good people, don’t appreciate the whole atmosphere of, “if you do your job well, we will give someone else’s work to do as well.”

Cons

Intuit doesn’t have real vacation time. Your level of satisfaction seems to be dependent on how good your manager is. If your manager runs their team by humiliation and scare tactics or allows their leads to bully and insult employees, the experience isn’t great. I also seem to experience leads and managers who seem to be making a point of “putting me in my place.” There is no consistency of standards across the board between teams or leads reviewing your work and honestly About half of my team doesn’t even work and the other half are “encouraged” to just do their jobs as well and not doing your work and the work of someone else is then used against you as an excuse not to promote you. My managers seem to have no desire to see me move forward in the company. It’s a shame because I do feel the company could be amazing but the atmosphere starts at the top and comes down and my experience has left me with the impression, management doesn’t care much for their employees.
