I have just joined Labcorp last week and so far it seems to be working very well. Good benefit package. Top notch training. The pay is ok, but I have been put through an accelerated training programme so I hope it goes up when I get promoted. I am happy with management so far.

Cons

I have not experienced anything negative at the moment. The only thing is that as a CRA they gave me a car allowance, without asking me if I'd preferred a company car and considering how much the price of the car has gone up, I am apprehensive that £4.5 k/year might not be enough

- flexible time available - overtime is paid

Cons

- no proper training, you are left on your own - promotion based on preferences and mainly to men - no advancement for women employees, minimum support when going to the manager - no flexibility allowed about working hours

Overall benefits and PTO are great in comparison to most entry to mid level lab jobs. Depending on your manager, schedule is very flexible. Potential for upward mobility.

Cons

Not very much pay incentive- very low yearly raise even with a good yearly performance review. Long hours and a lot of over time. High turnover for management (specifically lab ops) can result in poor leadership. Training is very hit or miss depending on leadership.
