      ok strarting off and mid career if you are

      Pros

      - I had good senior techs who took me under there wing -company culture is good -organized infrastructure for pdocuments -if you can command a good salary and want to stay at the bay area or can keep rate when moving to oregon site then stay otherwise there are other companies w//c can compensate more

      Cons

      -i was a temp for the 1st two years - when i became permanent they gave me equivalent salary and i pretty much made less -you will travel to asia and work with hourly guys who will milk it -expecct to work 16 hour days in the field + talking to home team when you get back to hotel -corp card sucks you can't earn any of your flight and travel points

      Pros

      Lam has clear Core Values and expects its managers and employees to operate by them. Invests heavily in employee training. My VP is very inclusive, promotes reasonable work-life balance. Long term business prospects are very good. Company's COVID-19 response has been very fair, supportive to employees.

      Company's operating divisions are siloed--can be hard to learn information from outside your organization
