      Pros

      Beautiful facility, excellent onsite amenities and employee benifits. Office culture was fairly pleasant. There are many here who truly care about the work they do.

      Cons

      Most final decisions were made by corporate. Headquarters are in China. Too many X-IBM employees bringing all of their past culture with them and just riding the train until they retire. Really poor management. Engineering was very non-transparent. There were many warring tribes.

      Great people to work with, fun environment, casual dress, good work-life balance

      Cons

      Absolutely no job security. If you think you're safe, you're not. Termination can, and will, come at any time. Source: Laid off out of no where, with no warning, after two years of full time employment.

      International travel Benefits package is highly competitive against similar high tech companies Collaborating with global team members Constantly evolving and changing organizational structures 6 month international assignments (only for China employees)

      Lots of night calls or early morning calls with China No work/life balance Limited career growth opportunities for employees outside of China
