Pros

Pay Is Good For A Grocery Store

Cons

Hours Are Inconsistent. Unfair Treatment In Work Place. The Hire Ups Are Very Rude, Unapproachable, Looks Down On Employees As Less. No Appreciation For Employees. Slow Weeks Hours Can Drop Down To 8hrs/Week. Employees Work HARD, Pay Is Good But Not Enough

Pros

the pay and the benefits are great

Cons

They trained one way. I was trained at a training center in Charlotte NC. They talked a great game. But, in the end, all the training went out the door once the stores were opened. There was no consistency and favoritism ran rampant.

Pros

Leaving Going in post leaving to savour the fact you don’t work there anymore Feeling positive In the fact you’ve reached the bottom - the only way is up

Cons

Utterly rubbish, condescending, patronising management Never respecting contracted hours Never getting planned holiday - doesn’t matter if you’ve booked/got it authorised will still put you on a ten hour shift. So if you’ve kids and want the day off with them -be prepared to argue and be made to feel bad because they don’t actually have the foresight to implement the absence into the weekly plans If you like back pain this absolutely is the job for you. New starters are shoved on the tills for ten hours (minus that generous 30 min break that you get to spend in the most depressing little hovel ever) Often left on ur own to manage to tills with a constant stream of 10 + customers cause most of the staff have chuffed off on their lush early shift Constantly give the rubbish shifts to new staff - be waiting at home all day to start shifts at 3/4 pm and given awful weekend shifts which means you’ve no way of enjoying social time. I didn’t see any of my close friends for the whole 4 months I worked there If you value your life then don’t bother
