Pros

You get a fantastic package including high salary, fully expensed Audi A4, health insurance, company pension scheme etc.

Cons

You work very long hours (approx. 60 per week) including 50% of most weekends. Very difficult to have a normal life outside the job with the amount of stress and responsibility associated with the role.

Pros

Almost none for the work the pay isnt even worth it

Cons

Managers showing up over 2-3 hours late and saying we wont be paid, managers doing illegal things, managers refusing to help and giving unfair demands like being shouted at for not doing a task another manager forgot to ask me to do

Pros

You are not stuck on the tills all day and it is a very physically active job. You really do work up a sweat doing back stocks so its good to feel like youve been active after a shift

Cons

It was almost impossible for me to get my position as FRP because i'm a woman. Im both tall and strong and I made these points to my store manager but for years I was still left at the tills even though I was known to work hard by all and had a really good relationship with everyone. Theres male favouritism for any of the jobs off tills in any store i've worked in - and i've worked in a lot around where I live. There is a lot of tension when someone goes to close their till when it's quiet, and one of the men is left on the till. A lot feel like they should be on the floor because they're men and its really backwards, needs to be changed.
