Pros

Fairly easy to transfer to a new store

Cons

Management don't care Payroll are never available to talk to about pay issues They operate a 30 hour undertime bank - meaning any time that you do under your contract, whether it's your fault or not, is put into an undertime bank. You can be paid for the first 30 hours of undertime but after that you will get that money taken out of your pay. Very often management won't rota you in for your contracted hours so you end up accruing lots of undertime Working hours can be any time 5am to 11pm, very often I wouldn't leave the store until 1am Rotas change without notice sometimes and you're expected to just fall in with it, and to stay over your shift Sick notes get lost far more often than they should be - always keep multiple copies for yourself if you ever want to see any SSP

Pros

You’ve got a roof above your head so you won’t get wet.

Cons

No respect from management, the way they are talking to staff in unacceptable. My ex mother in law treated me better than those who thinks they own the Lidl. Stay away from this company as far as you can.

Thank you for your review. We want the employee experience to be a positive one, across the business, so do appreciate for your feedback – we would recommend discussing the points you have raised directly with your regional PWC, who's details can be found in your welfare area. They will be able to discuss and hopefully help to resolve the issues you have raised. We do appreciate all of your hard work! Thanks again. Andy - Lidl
