Pros

Modern tech and practices; diverse and global environnement.

Cons

Multiple large layoffs in the recent years. Some departments are inefficient. Unclear vision from leaders. No travelling and very low évents budgets.

Product teams are well resourced on the X-Series product, so there is not a lot of pressure on developers.

Cons

Developer roles are quite specialised and there aren't many opportunities to build new skills.

Pros

Good people, good pay, good work environment, people are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Communication is bad, most people including middle-management do not know what is going on in the company. Sometimes even Eng. Managers are not aware about company decisions. No long-term plan for teams on growth, nurture and retention. People leaving and layoffs are common. Onboarding in tech is not good - no proper plan for team building or buddy program. Lack of planning and vision and overall poor communication between management and employees.
