      Poor benefits, poor salary

      Flexible time off Free food at the Montreal office Good maternity leave benefits

      Cons

      - Most employees underpaid. Not on par with tech companies, well below industry standards. - Unless at the GM/VP level, people don’t feel like they truly matter. - Company tries to push the culture of “you shouldn’t be here for the salary. You should want to be here to help the company succeed”. Lol - When any discussion related to compensation is brought up, the narrative is always to wait until “next comp cycle”. When that cycle is reached, people are often left feeling disappointed. - Poor organization internally. Created a bunch of complexities in their org structure only to lay off people at a later time claiming org structure is too complex.

      Not the best place to work if you are from a diverse background

      Pros

      -Team culture is quite strong -Fun place to work - One of very few companies offering a slight travel benefit to the office

      Cons

      - If you are from a diverse background and face a few difficulties the People & Culture team will not be helpful at all, and might even make things difficult for you at times - Compensation can be nearly 10k lower than the market standard - Lot of office politics is involved when it comes to career progression - The C-suite and senior level management can be completely detached from reality and their own product at times

      Very Challenging, Lots of Work To Be Done

      - At least for my team, my manager is very understanding and accommodating. - If you are looking at crunching code all year out, this is the place for you

      Cons

      - Pay and compensation are not so great - Lots of work and be prepared to work overtime - Can be very challenging - Acquisitions tend to disrupt the balance and throws people off every time - No harmony between the main company and its acquisitions
