      Pros

      A very special team culture built by a group of incredibly talented, creative, uplifting people. Great to be a part of an inclusive, socially aware organisation that genuinely values diversity. Plenty of opportunity for growth and career progression. Deep connection to the industry and customers brings real meaning to our work and authenticity to Lightspeed's vision. Stock options allow all employees to share in the success of the company.

      Cons

      Connecting teams from all over the world in different timezones does come with its challenges and at times the Sydney office has felt like an afterthought, but some good progress is being made here.

      Nice people with the right intentions. Free snacks and lunches. Good perks with flexibility, gym, health benefits Growth with acquisitions

      Cons

      Seems great at first and on the outside, but it feels like a fake, shell company, hollow on the inside. Exec team is out of touch with employee issues, impersonable, and don't connect claiming spirituality when the company is in disarray with incompetent leaders who scream the loudest gets the attention and promotion. What is promoted in the book is the opposite of what's happening at the company. When you have a company full of "leaders" and no followers, everyone is going in all direction. Full chaos

      Advantages of working for Lightspeed are (amongst others) Job Diversity, plenty of ownership, energetic colleagues, opportunity to grow,

      Cons

      A lot of workload, company is constantly growing so usually too little time to to fit everything in 40 to 50 hours. If you're okay with working longer days, this is the place to be though.
