Lockheed Martin reviews about "training"

A lot of office politics. People move up based on who they know not what they know.

Very difficult to move to other desired positions internally. Many people leave to return to a better/higher salary position.

Lack of proper training .

Salary is lower than most other companies in the area

Management did not know my skill set or cared to ask. Never asked how I was doing, even in relation to the programs I was working. "And you know what else Bob, I had eight bosses." The second one I only met because he started to get automated nag emails from HR that he needed to walk me though one training class. This was after 3 months on the job. The first one dumped me at my desk after HR orientation on the first day and never came back. Office space was noisy and distracting. Four months in a microcube in the lobby of a building with 15 interns.

As with all larges companies with hundreds of different departments trying to document, communicate and enforce best practices, there is a large amount of red tape that can get in the way of agility and efficiency.
