Pros

- Well known brand to have on your CV - Insight into the operations of a global retailer - Fast paced environment that builds resilience and adaptability

Cons

- Toxic work culture with zero teamwork across sales floors - Management is consistently unapproachable, unhelpful, and unfit to lead - Visual Merchandising team is rude, dismissive, and uncooperative — regularly moved stock without informing staff, leaving the sales team unable to assist customers properly - No communication or coordination between departments, leading to daily operational chaos - Extremely underpaid for the amount of physical and mental labor expected - No support for staff with health conditions — expected to perform physically demanding tasks like moving rails and handling mannequins regardless of ability or wellbeing - High turnover speaks for itself - you’re just another number

Awful company to work for

Pros

the discount (but only after you've worked there for three months)

Cons

Where do I start? Over worked - you will do the job of three people and expected to do this every shift. They expect you to deliver amazing customer service (they scrutinise every customer review) but this is difficult to achieve due to lack of staff and puts too much pressure on staff. Managers have screamed at people who they suspect were Mystery shopped but didn't get 100%. Management, especially regional have very unrealistic expectations and side too much with the customer (they forget sometimes customers are unreasonable!) Managers need better HR training - they will assign you shifts without asking or ask very last minute, if you have more than 2 days sickness they will hold a diciplinary meeting. They also expect staff to work for free - if you clock out late they will decline your overtime even when they asked you to stay longer. they expect you to finish at midnight and don't care how you get home! Only friends or family of the managers will be able to progress- if they don't like you (even if you work hard) they won't consider you. Management are cliquey. Low morale
