Pros

Some nice people - younger culture They'll never hire someone over the age of 30 (meaning the majority of people have the same mentality and are in the same place in life).

Cons

If you do not have a quota, you are not safe. This is a purely sales company. Ignore the bs in terms of providing a valuable service and content to clients - the sole purpose of all employees is to sell. Client's will be lied to and manipulated by account managers, sales reps and approved by management in order to make the sale. Making the sale is all that matters. A "fun" culture will be presented to you upon your assessment, interview in a lively office with music playing and a team having fun. Once you're in, a darker side appears with bullying and forced socializing (if your socializing is deemed not good enough, higher management will reach out). Career paths and progressions are a lie as you are initially underpaid in terms of industry standards and your title is nonsense. No long term plans for ANYONE working there - 99% of people working there are actively looking elsewhere. Staff retention is embarrassing. No useful skills can be gained working here. Nothing you can take elsewhere. If you are looking for a career, this is not the company for you.

Pros

Working with a young dynmaic workforce

Cons

Micromanaged, to the extent that you were watched and monitored very closely. Horrible pressured working environment. Told to constantly look for leads & grow your pipeline in order to sell the meltwater news service via a cold calling setup. Overtime was expected in order to do this with was always unpaid. Prices would be dropped massively on "closing day" & prospects hammered and disturbed until they signed up for the service. Product was expensive and not worth the money compared with other saas products.
