Pros

I would find it hard another company which has the same strength of culture engrained worldwide. Everyone is relatively young, fun, smart and ready to work hard, play hard. You can expect to be given responsibility from the outset meeting some of the most prestigious companies and brands, being involved in recruitment or running workshops. If you perform well you will have the opportunity to develop very quickly into more managerial roles so career progression is great. Great international opportunity with a very open flow for people who have performed and express an interest in working in one of the offices across 62 different countries. Great fun in the office including performance based treats like cooking classes, boat trips etc as well as Friday drinks and you tend to have an annual all expense paid Kick-off in countries such as Cancun, Jamaica, Miami etc.

Cons

The nature of the company being private in a competitive environment means a lot of organisational changes, which can be disruptive. Although career progression is quick to those who deserve, it lacks some depth which I think can frustrate people who have developed quickly early on. Benefits are very basic in terms of gym/health/pension

Pros

Company values, on-job training, flat organizational hierarchy. The job overall is very intense, and gives the candidate an opportunity to build B2B sales skills and experiences very quickly.

Cons

Compensation is on the lower end of the spectrum within the industry. Career development can be limited, and extremely competitive.

Pros

No other company puts so much belief in young people. Having been with Meltwater for nearly 6 years, I've had the opportunity to work in 3 different cities on the east coast and manage some of our most talented new hires. The job at any level of the management program is never "easy" - in fact, it can get hectic at some times. However, it is the people you work with and the office culture that make it all worth it. It's said that if you find a job you love you never have to work a day in your life and I feel as though my career with Meltwater has never been a "job" but more an adventure.

Cons

As with many sales jobs, there are highs and lows. People who cannot separate emotions from their work might find it tough to deal with certain set backs.
