Pros

High OTE for Large ENT AEs or AMs (200k+$) in Amsterdam

Cons

- No leadership vision - No leadership communication and involvement in day to day business - Poor opportunities for growth - Sales org Extremely political - promotions are more like "it's who you know", not based on sales results and merits. - Reorg every 6 months, change of teams, KPIs, managers - little visibility to plan for the year - No support from leadership/managers when things are tough, pressure is passed onto reps and no responsibilities are taken from C-levels/VP - No team spirit - no budget for team events anymore - no sales people go to the office because everyone is frustrated - diversity is poor - no culture, and no values reflected in the day to day at the end, you are and can feel right away that you are just a number, ready to be replaced whenever investors/leadership need to cut costs

Pros

You get to learn a lot about the product, which sets you up to find a better work environment where you can really collaborate and thrive with a great team.

Cons

As someone who worked at the Amsterdam location for this job, I strongly advise thinking twice. The company’s relocation process gets you here, but they don’t offer long-term security. Contracts often aren’t renewed, there doesn’t seem to be criteria for receiving permanent contracts, and it feels like a revolving door. They don’t seem to prioritize keeping experienced employees, which leads to a lot of uncertainty. For expats, the visa situation is risky. I know people who were unexpectedly let go with just months to find new work before residency expires. The handling of Dutch labor laws, particularly around part-time work requests, sick leave, workers council, and maternity leave need a review. There’s a pattern of people suddenly leaving without much explanation, and it creates a very unsettling work environment. The company’s financial situation seems more shaky. They used to hire in large numbers, but that’s really slowed down, and some hiring has shifted to regions where labor protections are weaker. If you do join, make sure to negotiate your salary upfront, as RSUs don’t seem like they will materialize given the poor strategic direction. Overall, the culture has deteriorated to the point where they’ve stopped doing employee pulse surveys. It feels like they don’t want to hear the feedback anymore. If you're looking for stability and a healthy work environment, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
