Pros

Great benefits and flexible hybrid work culture. Great Product.

Cons

I thought it was amazing my first year here, then during my second year, I realized I was completely wrong and I saw the real colors. Executive leadership is poor, they do not recognize accomplishments/effort appropriately, not even during reviews. Their communication is poor and lack ownership in their words and actions. They do not initiate conversations or review career development plans seriously. Examples they use to critique performance are very subjective and one-sided. It is all smoke and mirrors when it comes to living out the company's core values. Be very careful of this company... What you see on the outside is not what it truly is on the inside. Unless you are part of the executive leadership or part of their office outside of the Amer region, you will suffer silently while they make underhanded decisions and slowly backstab your efforts to communicate and contribute.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We take concerns about honesty, communication, and recognition seriously, as these are foundational aspects of our company culture that we continuously strive to improve. Regarding your concerns about the initiation of review conversations and development plans, we recognize the importance of regular performance discussions and growth opportunities. To address this, we are actively working on enhancing our manager training programs to empower them to effectively engage in these conversations throughout the year. Additionally, our people business partners are available to provide support and guidance to both managers and employees in navigating these processes. We encourage you to reach out to your dedicated people business partner to discuss these matters in further detail. These conversations are strictly confidential and a safe place to share any issues you might have. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts. Pros

Miro had an amazing culture the first year I worked there, but a lot of those people have left or been laid off. Still really cool people working on the front line. Minimal growth left in the product. They've saturated the market and doesn't seem to be enough innovation, so I think they'll probably sell, which could mean an easy payout.

Cons

The senior leadership was super impressive when I was there, and frontline managers are decent, but middle management is full of people who were there when Miro blew up and have been promoted past their competency. I think the people who were the smartest have now left the C-Suite minus Andre, so I'm not even sure I would have too much faith in the current C-Suite as a whole. Surprisingly snobby in their hiring process. They were only looking for people who came from Big Tech. The people they've laid off this past year were a lot of people who had been there for 4 years and also minorities. Leadership and sales teams are mostly white men and IDE is a rubber stamp (white male sales leader who sponsored one of the ERGs didn't even show up to any of the meetings).
