The company does not need initiative people

Pros

Interesting product, unusual engineering skills

Cons

The company says that they need initiative people but in reality, it's not. The company likes it if you stick to the party rules CEO knows nothing about engineering and don't want to know. Because of that the only 1 priority is features. No refactoring, improvements only features and features If you want to suggest something how it could improve tech. stack, add extra tests or smth like that it would be rejected because this wil not contribute to extra features. A huge lack of engineering improvements and unfortunately I don't see any movement in this direction

Good culture...

Pros

- Joined Miro with handful happiness and joy. The onboarding was amazing - I’ve never had such an excellent welcome experience. - Training was fair. Mainly done by senior colleague. - The team is amazing. Always cheerful and supportive.

Cons

However, for some reason, I feel the management is not as good as our impressive team work. I feel they always try to control us by fear. Not sure if it’s their intention. The company management looks happy to spend money for several overseas meetings/events - however they are rather reluctant to investment the money for other important things (eg. hire more people to have enough resources, trainings, promotions). Now micromanagement started getting worse. I feel now we are just a head count for them. I don't think they trust us.
