Pros

Just two: - They provide fruit and hot drinks. - Rooms are big enough to fit comfortably people's ego.

Cons

1. Unable to get new business and interesting projects to people: lot of people on the bench. Thanks to that and as a solution, big waves of layoffs where talent is overlooked. If there is something interesting, now the strategy is to offshoring to India. Forget about growing here. 2. Lack of culture: It's a company of company, NTT grew by acquiring companies without any people and culture strategy - and who cares! - so everybody have THEIR own rules, ways to understand THEIR business and THEIR own goals. 3. But... Blame culture: as everybody has their own agenda, collaboration is inexistent and difficult to align views. With that, here you go alone facing the challenges. If it doesn't work you'll hear "I told you", if that works everybody will benefit from it. If you want any proof just google the NTT's Arsenal project: it was a project not mean to be done and now everyone want their picture! Shame! 4. Employees eat last: no career path, career model nor performance model (claimed by employees and never done). Lack of empathy to employees. You're a number associated with a cost. Incredible bad people managers who don't guide and support employees in their journey! Many people working isolated with a very low morale. HR is inhumane. They will ruin the company. 5. Highly political org: favoritism everywhere. Big salary gaps among same roles as well as in the way they "measure" your performance. Also, check your passport before joining the company. 6. Lack of communication: Things happens. Full stop. You will know by an email at the same time of the rest of the company regardless your position and without anybody asking to you for any input even if there is any impact on you, your team or projects. Decisions are taken among selected people on the top (not all the Leadership Team) and they won't cascade anything, and if they say something, good luck if that's is genuine. 7. Unable to modernise the company: NTT is a big multinational company managed by spreadsheet in the computer or someone. Unable to make process more efficient and effective (rather the opposite), Many seniors with a 70's mindset leading how to do things with no tangible results. (but it's ok they are still there). 8. Lot of expensive people not adding value: Lot's of seniors with super-high salaries just telling people what color the slide must be and talking about how well they know the client (once they met in Tesco). Apart from that adding zero value. They go to a meeting, they provide their view after blaming others why things go wrong, and they walk away from the meeting to the next one. Technically (business and tech) incompetent and incapable -but with a more than decent salary and low stress. The good thing is that they are the best making jokes! 9. Lack of direction: Now the company and the management team are more focused on looking after their chair and their next move than taking care of the business and people. Perhaps that's why we don't get any new business.

Pros

Good and smart people on the ground

Cons

It doesn't matter what you achieve or the value you bring to the company and its clients. You are only rewarded if you have the right internal connections. Total lack of transparency and clarity over the work available (if there is any). It's a total non-sense. You are penalised for being too much on the bench but you're not allowed to network to get onto projects - this is "forbidden" as only the resourcing team can decide for you ( it generally ends up being "can you tidy up some slides" types of requests).

Pros

I do not have any pros

Cons

I was contacted by a recruiter and offered a job upon graduation of college. Everything went very smoothly and I was offered the job quickly after I was interviewed. I was told my start date, which was in June and one week before I was supposed to start I got an email saying my start date was pushed back one week and that I would be receiving an updated start date within a few days. I never received the new date, so I waited and called and emailed my recruiter MULTIPLE times -- never got a response. So, I assumed maybe they were really busy and I was just planning on going into the job on Monday morning. Before I could do that I received a call on Friday night (48 hours before I was supposed to start the job) and was told my job was no longer available because they over-hired. I did not get any sort of compensation or offer for another job. EXTREMELY disappointed. Do not work for this company they are a joke and do not care about their employees.
